Games to Be Shown

We will showcase over a dozen strong examples of serious games work from the UK, US, and greater Europe. The final schedule of games isn't set yet but will be by EOD Monday.

We currently have games coming from Surrey Institute, Blitz Games, NESTA Futurelab, Aqua Pacific, DESQ, Imaginary, and TPLD -- all based in the UK. They will be joined by titles from Breakaway Games, Digitalmill, and Carnegie Melon University from the U.S.

We hope to have a few titles from greater Europe as well. All-in-all we expect it to be a very strong line-up with games ranging from casual browser based titles to full-on cutting-edge 3D titles.

Sponsors:

The Serious Games Initiative has instigated this event and was joined by Jon Weinbren of Imaginary Productions.

The Surrey Institute is our co-host for this event as they have provided generous underwriting for the event. Blitz Games, and Breakaway Games have also pledge sponsorship funds for which we are grateful.

We are also grateful to the many organizations and/or individuals with key organizations who are helping get the word out including TIGA, DTI, Creative London, Advantage West Midlands, Andy Fawkes (MoD), Mary-Margaret.com, and more.
