Florida is universally recognised as a thought leader on the growing role of creativity in business, and is best known for his best-selling book, The Rise of the Creative Class , which has been acclaimed in business and cultural communities around the world, and has received many accolades, including The Washington Monthly's Political Book Award.

This is a unique opportunity to see Richard Florida, in his first and only appearance in Europe since the launch of his new book The Flight of the Creative Class, discuss one of the most important ideas in years influencing the future of the UK’s economy.

The event will be followed by drinks on the mezzanine gallery in the Centre for Life. This is due to finish at 6.30pm.
