MusicAlly is bringing together some of the country's most senior communications experts to offer their insight into the music industry's file sharing problem - to help the business get across its point in a fresh, innovative and credible way

MusicAlly, the UK's leading digital media consultancy, is bringing together some of the country's most senior communications experts to offer their insight into the music industry's file sharing problem - to help the business get across its point in a fresh, innovative and credible way.

The event will hear two keynote presentations: Principal keynote speaker is Tim Duffy, CEO, MC Saatchi who will pitch ideas from the perspective of one of the world's leading advertising agencies (clients include British Airways, Dixon's, Wanadoo, Trinty Mirror). This will be followed by a second keynote from branding expert, Jez Frampton, CEO, Interbrand (Sony, MTV, IBM, Coca Cola, Nokia and Starbucks).

A panel which includes PR guru Mark Borkowski, CEO, Borkowski PR (Led Zeppelin, Prince, Iron Maiden, Virgin Megastores, Vodafone), BPI Communications Chief Steve Redmond and Guardian tech journalist Neil Mcintosh will debate the likelihood of such pitches being accepted by the public or the record business.

Chaired by MusicAlly managing director Paul Brindley, the MusicAlly Debate represents the first time ever that such a high level panel of advertising, marketing and PR experts has been assembled to debate the music industry's approach to filesharing. At the same time as the first significant legal online music stores are launching in the UK, British labels are considering whether or not to sue thousands of their own customers. Can the industry succeed in winning over the hearts and minds of today's technology-savvy music fans?

All attendees will be invited to stay on after the debate for drinks.

Places are limited. ALL press places MUST be booked in advance.

To book e-mail debate@MusicAlly.com or telephone (020) 7359 0798.
