The MEDIA Desk UK is organising a seminar to raise awareness of MEDIA funding opportunities for digital interactive projects. The MEDIA Desk UK is the UK information office for the European Union’s MEDIA Programme, which supports the film, TV and interactive sectors in Europe.

The session is happening on 25 March in central London. The afternoon session focuses on MEDIA support for interactive works. The MEDIA scheme provides financial support for the early concept development of innovative digital media projects with a strong narrative element, where the navigation of end users can influence the story-telling. The fund is limited to interactive projects that complement a traditional film or TV project, be it an existing one or one being concurrently developed (full details are in the guidelines).

Full details of how to register for the seminar are available on the link: http://www.mediadesk.co.uk/news/_553/

Details of the funding scheme are here: http://www.mediadesk.co.uk/funding/_2,24,131/ Please note the coming deadline on 12 April 2010.
