The fifth annual National Creative Industries Conference, the biggest debate in 2009 on the future of the UK’s creative economy is taking place in London at the BFI Southbank, on the 24th and 25th November this year.

NCI09 is an opportunity for over 300 leading stakeholders from the creative sector and local and national government to come together to review the latest policy, strategy and best practice to enable the creative sector to flourish.

This event will include input from leading figures in the sector as well as from the three main parties, hearing from Sion Simon MP, new Minister for Creative Industries, shadow creative industries spokesmen Jeremy Hunt MP and Don Foster MP, as they give their views on the future of the UK’s Creative Sector as they put together manifestos ahead of the 2010 election.

For the first time NCI09 will be set over two days and will host an interactive programme of workshops, debate and networking. Delegates will have the chance to attend a choice of three workstreams focusing on the topics of Creative Places, Digital Media and Skills and Talent.
