Do you have a great idea you’re working on but really need to find funding? Or have you already started your small venture/business but want to feed in more cash? Then this workshop is designed for you.

In the morning we will look at:

  • How to pitch your business?
  • The different kinds of pitches
  • What the Funders are looking for?
  • How to find the right funding

In the afternoon NMK will bring you together with the people who can help:

  • A prominent bank specialising in media
  • Business angels
  • A venture capitalist
  • A government funding body

They will explain the money that is available to you and the processes involved in qualifying and applying.

This is a practical session with honest and straight-forward advice. You will be told how you can attract funding but also you will discover more about the pros and cons of accepting such funding. I.e. what changes will you need to make to your organisation/venture, what reporting procedures might you have to install and how organised and transparent will your venture need to be in order to conform with the conditions specified.

The aim of the day is for you to emerge knowing more about the avenues available for funding and how to pitch your company accordingly. You will then be able to apply this knowledge to your venture for the future and be fully aware of the practical procedures and implications.

Further details to be confirmed.
