This is a MusicTank event

MusicTank’s 21st September Think Tank will draw together industry experts to analyse emerging ways of selling music.

The Keynote will be given by Tim Clark, co-founder and director of ie:music, the management company for Robbie Williams whose recent deal with T-mobile is set to revolutionise the market.

The panel pools experience in diverse new retail channels:

• Mark Bennett - Head of Digital, HMV, who are re-focussing sales beyond the high-street

• Stephen Godfroy - Founder & MD of Rough Trade’s Album Club who lead the field in terms of taste-driven sales to serious music fans.

• Matthew Porter - Director, Digital Assets, Inspired Broadcast Networks. This company has just agreed a deal with Coca-Cola to trial vending machines selling downloads.

• Gordon Richardson - MD, Beanscene. A café chain using their niche brand to sell associated music.

The event will be chaired by Keith Harris, Chairman of MusicTank.

TICKETS: £20 / £15 (Trade bodies: AIM, BACS, BPI, MMF, MPA, MU, MCPS-PRS Alliance, PPL)
