Do you regularly wow your colleagues (or bore your friends and family) with facts about new media history?

Do you find yourself reminiscing about how it used to be back in the day (grandad); how the whippersnappers in your company just don’t appreciate the industry that they are in? Is your inner geek in need of a public outlet, or a thrashing that will sting for weeks?

... Let's face it, some people dream of public humiliation. Look no further! Get along to the NMK Xmas Quiz and roll up your sleeves for the bare-knuckle fight of the season. Flex that brain for glory, or prepare to wallow in shame.

We’re looking for teams of up to 6 people (minimum team size: 4) to enter the quiz, quaff some spirits and get a piece of the action! It could be a company team, or a bunch of mates clinging to the vain hope that they understand this crazy industry.

And please, try not to form a team comprised purely of men. That is just boring.

WHO CAN ENTER?
Technologists, creatives, marketers and random interlopers, come all ye, and be tested on new media events and factoids of the last ten years. Should your team be the lucky ones to score highest, you will be the lucky receivers of some very valuable and desirable prizes...

PRIZES:
The team prizes are still under wraps but we can reveal that an individual raffle prize is also up for grabs - in the form of an iPod Nano courtsey of Gabriele Skelton

QUIZ TIMINGS:
Doors open at 6pm and we'd advise hoofing it down there early in time for the festive drinks sponsored by BigMouthmedia (these good things can't go on forever...).

Under the strict rein of the celebrity quizmaster, the quiz will run from 7-8pm. Then you can carouse with the losers and try to bribe the winners into showing you their valuables ;-)

HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, get your team of 4-6 people together and have one person from the team register via the booking form stating your team name in the comments box. The cost is £20 per team.

Location

The Bell & Compass (downstairs bar), 9-11 Villiers St, Charing Cross, London WC2N 6NA.
