Renowned graphic artist David Carson will be giving a lecture at The University of Portsmouth on the 30th April 2004.
The evening lecture, which is open to all, begins at 6pm, and is followed by a book-signing, where David will be autographing copies of his books 'Trek', '2nd Sight', 'The End of Print' and 'Fotografiks'.

David Carson is a designer, photographer, film director, author and lecturer. He is the principal of David Carson Design, with offices in New York, Malibu and Charleston. His work has been published in over 150 magazine and newspaper articles around the world, including Eye, Idea, The New York Times, The Guardian, Metropolis, The LA Times, Domas, Wired and Emigre (an entire issue on his work).
His book 'The End of Print' is the biggest selling design book of all time (having sold over 125,000 copies).
He has designed for many companies, including: American Express, American Airlines, Atlanta Olympics Committee, Atlantic Records, British Airways, Budweiser, CNN, Giorgio Armani, Kodak, Levi's, Magic Johnson AIDS Foundation, Mercedes Benz, MGM Studios, Microsoft, MTV, NBC, Nike, Nissan, Packard Bell, Pepsi, Sony, Suzuki, Toyota, Warner Bros, Xerox.
