YouTube UK successfully achieved a 100% success rate this month and was the only site that had perfect availability of its home page. YouTube also had an impressive download speed of 1.29 seconds, putting it in third place for March. Given that YouTube UK’s home page comprises of such a large amount of rich content, this site performance compared to other sites on the list is admirable. Facebook continued to have a particularly quick response time and was once again the only social networking site to load in less than a second on average, at 0.61 seconds. The index average was under two seconds with only three sites falling below this month – MySpace, Hi5 and Bebo.
