Corometrics report argues that automation tools may make marketing easier, favouring the adoption of personalisation features. The document states that “personalised content can dramatically boost customer loyalty, online conversions, and turnvover in both consumer and business realms.”

In accordance with the study, most companies have more than enough data – data on customers, purchases, web traffic, products, demographics, and channels. However, the data are “scattered across disparate data sources, and it is growing rapidly in volume and complexity”. Companies want to harness these data to understand customers and deliver personalised content. Nonetheless, manual solutions are not efficient means to cope with such a huge volume of data, which has made many companies to give up of personalised solutions.

The report argues that the latest generation of personalisation technology enables “companies to powerfully and precisely deliver the right offer to the right customer at the right time via the right channel” and that personalisation solutions may define “the economy over the next decade”. This is the opinion for instance of Bruce Kasanoff, an independent consultant and author of the book Making It Personal. “Signs of it are emerging in every industry. Competing successfully in the ‘personal economy’ requires more flexible capabilities, better databases, and an entirely different mindset than most organisations possess”, says Bruce Kasanoff, as quoted in Corometrics whitepaper.

The white paper discusses how personalisation is now within reach of most companies, including SMEs, and brings practical tips and insights into how personalisation can help your organisation.
