Fox TV Studios has optioned the 'Foreplay' property, a made-for-mobile animated dating series from Chooz. FtvS has acquired all U.S. mobile rights for “Foreplay,” as well as worldwide television, home entertainment, Internet, publishing and merchandising rights.

Under the exclusive deal, announced 21 March 2006, Fox TV Studios will develop original episodes based on the existing “Foreplay” characters and storylines. Currently, the “Foreplay” series is distributed by Chooz across mobile platforms outside of the United States.

The studio has acquired all U.S. mobile rights, as well as worldwide television, home entertainment, Internet, publishing and merchandising rights. Under the exclusive deal, Fox TV Studios will develop original episodes based on the existing “Foreplay” characters and storylines. Currently, the “Foreplay” series is distributed by Chooz across mobile platforms outside of the United States.

Fox expands into mobile TV content

“Chooz is making a great breakthrough into the US market and we are delighted to be working with Fox Television Studios on further developing our product and extending our reach," said Galit Scharf, Chooz managing director.
