Teaching Company Scheme
An opportunity for digital media companies to access the best talent and expertise from the University of Westminster.
If you are looking to develop your digital media business, TCS brings you opportunities for innovation, profitability, growth and creative expansion.
NMK is offering new media companies the chance to take part in the TCS scheme, giving them low-cost access to the knowledge and expertise of the University of Westminsters graduates, backed up by the Universitys support and knowledge-base.
Companies that participate in the TCS scheme will form a partnership with the University in which a recent graduate (a TCS associate) comes to work for two years or more, under the supervision of both management and academic staff from the two organisations. A member of the University will be directly linked to each associate, and will indirectly provide the company with additional knowledge and expertise. The Associate remains an employee of the University, with the company contributing towards a portion of their costs.
Key skills offered by University of Westminster graduates include:
- Human Computer Interaction
- Knowledge Management
- Project Management
- Interactive Media design
- e-Business strategy and implementation
The University of Westminster is one of the UKs leading HE institutes in such disciplines as interactive media, e-business, music, design and communications. Many of its graduates have gone onto to become leading figures in the UKs media, ICT and entertainment industries.
TCS is a government-funded scheme intended to strengthen the competitiveness of the UK by stimulating innovation in industry through collaborative partnerships between HE institutes and business. For more information about TCS, check out www.tsconline.org.uk
